About The Position

We are currently hiring for experienced and entry level Driller's Assistants for environmental and geotechnical drilling projects. Duties • Assist lead driller with all drilling operations, including but not limited to, collection of soil and rock core samples, installation of monitoring wells and decommissioning wells. • Assisting in maintenance of drill rigs, support vehicles and equipment. • Loading and unloading supplies for daily drilling activities. • Operation of miscellaneous equipment such as jackhammers, generators, pumps, pressure washers, etc. • Other duties as assigned by the lead driller. Salary Range: $20 - $22 per hour The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. Some mechanical and electrical aptitude and desire to troubleshoot equipment a plus. Valid NYS driver license. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to regularly lift and move 80 pounds. Ability to work outdoors assisting drill rig operations in all weather conditions year-round. Electrical, plumbing and construction experience a PLUS. 10 hr. and 40 hr. HAZWOPER training preferred but not required because we can provide training. OSHA 10 hr. or 30 hr. construction safety training preferred, but not required, we can provide training. Experience with operation of heavy equipment is a plus. Requirements

Valid NYS driver license.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Nice To Haves
