About The Position
This position is located in our Fabrication Shop in Beaumont, Texas. Job Duties Looking for an ambitious, hard working individual to join the team. Must be able to operate a grinder. Manually moving freight, stock, or other materials and performing other general labor as instructed. Follow instructions from construction project managers and foreman. Cleaning the construction site by removing hazards, materials and debris from the worksite. Loading materials from trucks through the loading docks using hand trucks and other freight moving equipment. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to tolerate extreme heat <upwards of 90 to 100 degrees in the summer> and extreme cold <0-40 degrees in the winter>. Must be able to lift 50 lbs above shoulder height on a regular basis as well the ability to bend, stoop, squat, walk, climb, and stand for 4 or more hours consecutively with or without accommodations. May be required to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to hard hats, gloves, protective eye wear, fire retardant clothing. Must be able read, write, and converse in English and able to understand written instructions.
