Requirements

• Ability to operate and maintain drilling and roof bolting machinery
• Strong focus on safety and compliance standards
• Capability to work in physically demanding underground environments
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving mindset for adapting to changing conditions
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling and roof bolting equipment safely and efficiently
• Install roof support systems to maintain underground stability
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
• Monitor drilling and bolting progress, making adjustments as needed
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations

Benefits

• $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
