About The Position

This position is for a Drexel co-op student in the Spring / Summer term. Length of internship is approximately six months from March 2026 through September 2026. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position based out of the Philadelphia office. Job responsibilities include assisting with water and wastewater engineering assignments such as plan development, field work, quantity calculations, and cost estimating. Basic Functions: Work on projects in Pennsylvania including water distribution / transmission, wastewater collection, ADA curb ramp design, street reconstruction grading design, and other types of projects as needed.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with an interest in Water & Wastewater Engineering
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or GIS
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license

• Participation in professional societies (AWWA, PWEA, etc.)
• Applicable prior intern (Co-Op) experience
