Drench Associate Our Drench Associate will mainly be responsible for following MCP's policies and procedures for our daily cultivation operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations. Your role in caring for our company: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Reasonable accommodation(s) may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions. This position requires an inordinate amount of sitting, walking, kneeling, bending, scooping, twisting and reaching in full range of motion to complete physical tasks. Must be capable of sitting for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 80lbs assisted. As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday. Employees are asked to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants. DCM will provide scrubs, gloves, and hair nets to all employees.

Requirements

For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.
We ask that you are comfortable and able to step over high rails while holding heavy equipment.
We ask that you are comfortable and able to wear a 40lb backpack while performing certain tasks.
We ask that you are comfortable and able to work in limited lighting areas with only a headlamp.
We ask that you are comfortable with heights.
We ask that you are comfortable and able to wear full PPE (to include full face masks/shields).
We ask that you do not have allergies to plant materials or nitrile gloves; job requires daily exposure to cannabis plants and nitrile gloves.

Responsibilities

Drenching and/or Hand Watering Plants.
Maintaining of Equipment.
Calibration and Operation of Drench and IPM equipment.
Mixing and application of biological agents.
Preparation and application of nematodes with backpack sprayers into the root zone.
Application of Beneficial Insect to the plants.
Post-harvest bay cleaning.
Cleaning of all surfaces and equipment in growing areas.
Green Waste Removal - gutters, containers, trash cans, floors.
Sanitation using peroxide-based products.
Plant Measurements.
Scouting - Identify and report pest and disease.
Dripper assembly Irrigation Repair.
All other duties as necessary.
