Requirements

  • Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment in a safe manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting of heavier materials with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity to operate controls and perform maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as needed.
  • Visual and auditory acuity to monitor equipment and surroundings safely.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dredge equipment safely and efficiently to extract sand and gravel.
  • Monitor dredging operations and adjust controls to maintain optimal production.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on dredge machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational needs.
