About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate dredge equipment safely and efficiently to extract raw materials Monitor and adjust dredging operations to maintain optimal performance Perform routine maintenance and inspections on dredge machinery Communicate with team members to coordinate material handling and site operations Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during operations
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Strong awareness of safety and environmental standards
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
