The Drayage Management Staff role involves monitoring and managing the drayage process of shipment movement, which includes receiving Arrival Notices, ISF information before vessel arrival, creating and sending delivery orders, and ensuring empty container return. This position requires managing relationships with drayage carriers, identifying alternative carriers in case of capacity shortages, and sharing daily container delivery schedules. Key responsibilities also include analyzing, creating, editing, tracking, and tracing various Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) such as drayage carriers, rail companies, and terminals. The staff will monitor and drive improvements in customer service goals, including on-time delivery, product lead-times, and request-for-quote responsiveness. Additionally, the role requires finding optimal solutions for pre-pull yards, reporting monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for drayage deliveries, checking delivery statuses, communicating with customers, documenting corrective actions and improvement plans, verifying their effectiveness, and performing ad-hoc reporting as needed.
