About The Position

Olsson’s Rail Signal experts provide clients with a single resource for services such as traffic signal preemption design, grade crossing safety design, traffic operations studies, and other related services. As a Drafting Intern for the Rail Signal team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You will provide assistance to engineers and designers using Revit and AutoCAD to create plans and perform design work. You will also contribute to project production sheets by adding dimension/layout plans, drawing schematics, and title/detail sheets.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Pursuing an associate degree in electrical drafting or related drafting program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities
