We have a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and structural engineers, drafters, and designers. Our technical expertise is paired with an exceptional team of business development, human resources, finance and accounting, information technology, and marketing professionals, all of whom play a key role in bringing our commitments to life every day. Job Summary: Our Drafting Assistant role is an entry level position with no experience necessary. We offer in-house training, including the ability to earn a Drafting Apprentice certificate. Our team works in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined team environment. This role is to support the development of design and construction documents for our industrial clients. This role is designed as a full-time position for the right candidate who is willing to take on challenges with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. In this role, you will Use various software platforms to assist in the production of design and construction documents for mechanical and structural engineering projects. Complete 3D modeling of mechanical and structural system or components for coordinating models, analysis and design drawings Work on a variety of projects, with a diverse group of team members You will be a great fit if: You have a high school diploma Enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment You have any experience in Computer-Aided Drafting or Engineering Technology (preferred but not required) You have experience or interest in construction, mechanics, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC (preferred but not required)
Requirements

- Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a professional environment.
- Ability to complete a computer proficiency test
Nice To Haves
- You have any experience in Computer-Aided Drafting or Engineering Technology (preferred but not required)
- You have experience or interest in construction, mechanics, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office (preferred but not required)
