Job Summary: The Drafter serves to work in a fast-paced multi-disciplined team environment. This role is to support the development of design and construction documents for building systems under the supervision of Senior Engineers. This role is designed to roll into a full-time position for the right candidate that will tackle all challenges with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. In this role, you will Complete field investigation of existing site and system conditions. Use Revit and AutoCAD to assist in the production of design and construction documents for mechanical/electrical systems. Complete scheduling, programming, quality control, and coordinating information/work of all disciplines.

Requirements

  • Training towards an associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Engineering Technology program, or engineering degree.
  • 0-2 years’ experience (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office
  • Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in drafting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various facilities is preferred but not required.

  • The hourly range for this position is $25 to $35.
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
