What you will do:
 As the Cabinet Drafter you will be have a crucial role as you utilize Cabinet Vision Software to prepare drawings and information for our shop to be able to manufacture the customer’s project.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of custom woodwork design construction
• Highly skilled in computers and associated software, including Microsoft Office
• Strong math skills and the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle variables in situations
• Strong technical, analytical, and reasoning skills.

Nice To Haves

• Cabinet Vision or other related software experience, is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop cut sheets and shop papers from approved order documents
• Work directly with shop floor personnel on issues and manufacturing concerns, ensuring continuous production and process improvements
• Work closely with CSR’s, product development, and production staff
• Ensure designs meet manufacturing and customer needs
• Effectively utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials to complete projects
• Perform other assigned tasks and requirements as assigned
• Produce workable layouts and 3Ds to our specification in a timely fashion
