About The Position

This role focuses on transforming 2D technical drawings into 3D models using AutoCAD and Inventor. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both 2D drafting and 3D modeling, with strong experience in detailing and technical drawing standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor
• Strong skills in drafting and detailing
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Experience with Tekla
• No degree required
• 2+ years of experience in 2D and 3D drafting/detailing
• 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD and Inventor

Responsibilities

• Interpret 2D CAD drawings, such as mechanical parts, assemblies, and layouts.
• Recreate these designs as accurate 3D models using Inventor.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to design intent.
• Create detailed drawings from 3D models for manufacturing or fabrication.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) where needed.
• Produce exploded views, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions.
