As a Downtown Cleanliness Ambassador for the City of Morgantown, you will help to create the first impression of Morgantown to residents and visitors in the heart of our community! Downtown Cleanliness Ambassadors ensure that residents and visitors are provided with clean, comfortable public spaces, and are a part of creating a memorable experience for them. Works under the supervision of the Facilities Superintendent and the Deputy Engineering and Public Works Director and is reviewed for compliance with established procedures while working. General duties shall include performing tasks required to maintain the public areas in a clean and maintained manner for the public; work to maintain and keep sidewalks, alleys, trails and other public areas clean and clear of debris and to keep sidewalks abutting city property along with crosswalks free of snow and ice during winter months.
