Parking Concepts, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Parking Ambassador position in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. We have a proud history spanning over 50 years of providing high quality, progressive and innovative parking management services at hotels, hospitals, retail centers, commercial buildings, and special events. Immediate Opening Growth Opportunities Supportive Work Environment Schedule: Flexible (25-30 hours a week including weekends) Pay Rate: $19.00 Hourly Position Overview: Ensures that an appropriate number of cars are kept on location throughout the shift and are being parked correctly and the lot is kept clean and presentable.
Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand for an extended period.
- Must be able to speak fluent English and courteously assist customers.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be punctual, thorough, and have a great work ethic.
- Superb customer service and communication skills.
- Must pass a background check.
- Ability to sit and/or stand at a designated station for extended periods of time, ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, kneel, crouch, twist push/pull items, devices, etc. during the course of scheduled working hours.
- Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs to position or remove barricades in order to close or open parking areas.
Responsibilities
- Position requires assisting customers with pay stations, prepaid tickets, and collect parking fees for cash and credit card customers at the exit.
- Occasionally directing traffic is required
- Safely ensuring moving vehicles and pedestrians enter and exit parking areas.
- Follow schedule and checklist closely but stay flexible when needed.
- Accurately record all completed tasks.
- Maintain, repair, clean, dust, and mop the building grounds.
