What You'll Do The Production Operator in the Downline position is responsible for ensuring optimum quality of the assembled and sealed package. This involves work with all down-stream equipment, including associated conveyors, the straw applicator, multi-wrapper, accumulator, labelers, Combitop applicator and case packers. You'll be making sure that the filled and/or assembled products are correct and ready to ship. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, Downline Operators work as part of the production team in this clean, temperature-controlled environment.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older
  • Ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime.
  • Must be self-motivated and conscientious.
  • Ability to work well with a team or other coworkers.
  • Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems.
  • Ability to complete certification requirements

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience ideal.
  • 6 months of prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred.
  • Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred.
