About The Position
DOOR PERSON Door Person is often the first point of contact for patrons and should be able to provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests. Up Sky Bar located inside The Current Hotel is looking for high quality part-time, seasonal position for Door Person. Are you a team player that can add to a fun collaborative environment? Some specific duties and responsibilities include the following:
Requirements
- May be required to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with patrons, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Must be responsible for handling multiple tasks simultaneously and should be able to manage their time effectively in order to complete all of their duties.
- Must be available to work Friday, Saturday and some Thursdays from 9pm to 1am,
- May assist with cleaning and bussing tables.
Responsibilities
- Checking IDs and verifying that patrons meet the age requirements.
- Managing crowds.
- Enforcing rules and regulations set by The Current Hotel.
- Assisting with crowd control during events or high-volume period.
