About The Position

Turning moments into SPECIAL memories for our guests and owners by being an ambassador for our brand, our property and our community. As a Doorperson, you will use your passion for personalized guest service by providing a warm welcome for our owners and guests as soon as they step foot onto our driveway. From a warm welcome to a fond farewell, as a Doorperson, you will ensure a lasting impression for our guests’ stay. Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director, Residences, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: •Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming as defined by our Company Handbook. •Warmly acknowledges and greets all owners and guests. •Attempts to anticipate owner’s and guests’ needs and provides assistance without being asked. •Works closely and amiably with the Butlers to provide a warm and seamless arrival and departure. •Secures and retrieves vehicles within and from the parking garage abiding by the valet parking procedures. •Unloads and assists transfer of luggage to Butler per guest and owner preferences upon their arrival and assists Butler with loading luggage into vehicles upon their departure. •Identifies and communicates owner and guest preferences creating personalized experiences. •Efficiently executes requests from Residence Services Supervisors and other leaders. •Serves all owners and guests with an outstanding attitude, attentiveness to detail, and ownership and follow through with all responsibilities. •Works a flexible schedule based on occupancy and needs with the ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required. •Assists with butler duties when butler is not present, in order to fulfill guest and owner needs in a timely manner. •Willingness to support all departments as necessary. •Works with Residence Manager as needed for monitoring secure access. •Clearly understands and executes standards and procedures. •Responsible for securing keys for all guest vehicles. •Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the Doorperson stand and Lobby Entrance. •Must exercise caution and abide by all safety and emergency procedures. •Performs other special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Valid CA drivers' license must be in good standing
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Outstanding guest services skills (Listening) and sophisticated verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Must be able to drive a car with a manual transmission
