Doorperson SUMMARY The Doorperson is responsible for Ensuring each guest is appropriately greeted as they arrive. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Welcome guests to the hotel and ensuring a pleasant arrival and departure. Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance giving accurate information regarding outlet hours, other hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education preferred.
  • Ability to operate all types of passenger vehicles (standard and automatic).
  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • Must be able to stand or drive and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and luggage handling tasks.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
