About The Position

The Door-to-Door Sales Representative involves direct engagement with potential customers in residential and commercial sectors to promote and sell our irrigation systems (installs, maintenance/repairs), snow removal, and lawn care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for building relationships.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
  • A goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and may be required to walk for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service (preferred)
  • Familiarity with door-to-door sales techniques (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Territory Development: Conduct door-to-door visits in designated neighborhoods and business districts. Identify and target potential customers based on demographic research and area analysis.
  • Sales Presentations & Consultative Selling: Deliver engaging, informative sales presentations to homeowners and business owners. Clearly explain the features and benefits of RainMaster's products/services, tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Build rapport and establish trust with prospective clients. Professionally respond to questions and address concerns.
  • Lead Management & Follow-Up: Collect and maintain accurate contact information and detailed records of interactions. Follow up with prospects via phone, email, or additional visits as needed to close sales.
  • Reporting & Market Feedback: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, pipeline progress, and sales results. Provide feedback to management regarding market trends and customer preferences.
