Door Component Manufacturing & Picking Associate
About The Position
As a Door Component Manufacturing & Picking Associat e at Krosswood Doors , you will be responsible for producing, staging, and picking door components to support assembly operations. This role requires a hard-working, reliable, and punctual individual looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. You will be expected to work with speed, accuracy, and consistency as well as maintain a team-player mentality and commitment to safety, quality, and production flow. All candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Requirements
- Ability to use power tools: saws, routers, drills, nail guns
- Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16 inch
- Ability to read and understand work orders
- Basic math skills including fractions
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy
- Strong commitment to safety standards
- Work well with team members
- Maintain equipment properly
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Report discrepancies immediately
- Reliable work history preferred
- Stand for 8+ hours
- Lift 45–75 lbs regularly
- Strong communication skills

Responsibilities
- Manufacturing door components including jambs, headers, thresholds, and trim pieces
- Operate saws, routers, and cutting equipment
- Ensure components meet size and quality specifications
- Pick components based on work orders for assembly
- Verify correct items and quantities
- Stage materials for production carts
- Read and follow work orders
- Confirm measurements and specifications
- Maintain quality standards
- Inspect components for defects, warping, or damage
- Support production throughput (TPUT)
- Meet daily and hourly targets
- Maintain safe and organized workspace
- Follow PPE and 6S standards
- Work cooperatively with team members
- Communicate shortages or issues immediately
