Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a full-time Donor Relations and Projects Coordinator to join their team. The Donor Relations and Projects Coordinator supports engagement and fundraising strategies that strengthen and grow charitable giving from current and prospective donors. This position plays a key role in planning and managing both large (250+ people) and small (10 people) donor events, producing printed and digital fundraising materials, and assisting with direct mail and email appeals.

Requirements

  • 2 years of professional project or event management experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to collaborate with and work effectively with all colleagues, volunteers, residents, and their family members; ability to collaborate with internal and external graphic designer(s), print and mail house vendors to ensure high-quality products and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and meet deadlines; ability to interpret data and identify exceptions.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Results oriented—drives for successful results and moves tasks and assignments toward closure; ability to meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Exercises sound judgment, knows when to ask questions, and inspires confidence among colleagues, donors, and other external constituents.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, and organizational skills; strong attention to detail.
  • Displays professionalism in interactions with residents, volunteer attorneys, and team members.
  • Ability to follow branding guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with publishing software, social media, website updating and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Foundation team to ensure donors are acknowledged, recognized, and encouraged in their financial support for PHS.
  • Manage and coordinate any campaign-related kickoffs and celebration events.
  • Encourage donor relationships through creative digital messages.
  • Plan and manage estate planning seminars at various communities, collaborating with individual gift planners.
  • Record donor relations and stewardship activities in DonorPerfect database to enhance relationships, identify potential donors, and increase the likelihood of continued contributions.
  • Plan and execute all annual Joy and Legacy Society events that steward relationships with donors, Board members, and PHS leaders.
