About The Position

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of donor medical records, which is essential for maintaining the high standards of quality in healthcare. You will be responsible for analyzing medical chart information and working closely with external partners to gather necessary data. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly impact the efficiency of services provided, contributing to advancements in regenerative medicine. Requirements

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 6 or more years of chart reviewing experience
  • 5 years of industry experience preferred
  • CTBS certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Digital Chart Software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Makes recommendations to maximize quality and cost efficiency of services as a subject matter expert
  • Determines donor eligibility utilizing vast medical knowledge
  • Works with external partners to obtain complete and accurate medical chart information
  • Analyzes and organizes confidential medical information systems with high accuracy
  • Manages donor medical records and databases for statistical reports
  • Performs quality reviews and assists in training other associates
  • Completes training as coordinator and in multiple review roles
  • Ensures donor medical records are complete, accurate, and confidential
  • Locates, prints, scans, and organizes medical charts with high accuracy
  • Verifies information within medical charts and assists with archiving records
  • Maintains department inbox
  • Mentors less-experienced team members
  • Performs other duties as assigned
