About The Position

LifeGift is currently looking for a Donation Systems Specialist in the Houston region who is responsible for all aspects of organ and tissue donation system building for their assigned hospitals and areas. In order to maintain an effective and efficient organ and tissue donation program, this position will collaborate with hospitals, community and agency leadership in the continuous improvement of the hospital’s donation system, as measured by the outcome of organ and tissue donation. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or a combined total of 5 years education and experience in healthcare, marketing, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations in a clinical environment.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• As a condition of employment, you must be able to attain Hospital Badge and EMR Access from all of the LifeGift Hospital Partners

Nice To Haves

• Extensive experience in public speaking, sales/marketing, data analytics, healthcare administration and strategic planning preferred

Responsibilities

• Solution based approach when engaging with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to facilitate organ/tissue donation and foster process improvement initiatives.
• Conducts data analysis and target marketing initiatives to maximize potential in an effort to improve donation metrics.
• Provide annual strategic planning and administrative reporting to assigned hospitals.
• Maintain documentation of ongoing hospital activities and education.
• Travel frequently between hospitals within a designated region; flexibility for non-traditional hours is required.
• Reliable transportation required.
