LifeShare welcomes you to join our dynamic team as a Donation Services Coordinator during the night shift 7pm -7am. Position: Donation Services Coordinator - Night Shift Location: Oklahoma City, OK (On-site at Headquarters) Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM), including rotating weekends/holidays Communication: Phone-based interactions with Families and Hospital Staff About Us: At LifeShare, we believe in the transformative power of organ, eye, and tissue donation. Our mission is to serve grieving families and hospital staff throughout the donation process, providing support and compassion during a crucial time. We are seeking individuals who share our passion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Flexibility and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to handle stressful situations with calm efficiency.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends on rotation.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical terminology knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience with grief support is a plus.
  • Experience in performance-oriented environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with hospital staff to assess donor eligibility.
  • Guide families through the donation process with empathy and care.
  • Request authorization for donation from legal next of kin.
  • Conduct medical/social history interviews with families.
  • Utilize strong critical thinking skills in decision-making.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, including hospitals, medical examiners, and funeral homes.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with donor families and professional staff.
  • Provide flexibility and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities.
