Donation Center Attendant

About The Position

Second Cycle, in partnership with our non-profit partners, is dedicated to collecting clothing and household donations. We are seeking a dedicated Donation Attendant to join our team. This role involves collecting donations, recording information, maintaining a clean and professional site, organizing donations, and assisting drivers during pickup. The ideal candidate should possess physical strength, stamina, the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions, and a commitment to providing friendly and courteous service to donors and the public.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry it for short distances.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
Strong back and abdominal muscles to maintain proper posture while operating equipment and lifting heavy objects.
Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.
Good hearing to detect warning signals and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Basic comprehension of written and verbal instructions in English is necessary.
Basic communication skills, including speaking, writing, reading, and comprehending English.
