About The Position

This role is for a Donation Center Attendant who will float between two specific locations. The position involves providing outstanding customer service to donors, receiving and tracking donations, and sharing information about the company's charity partners and mission. Attendants are responsible for maintaining a neat and presentable donations area, working safely and efficiently in various weather conditions, and collaborating with a diverse team. The company's mission is to positively impact the environment and communities by reducing waste, supporting local charities, and creating jobs, aiming to be the "Thrift Brand of Choice" in the Southeast. The role requires interaction with donors, truck drivers, and other team members to organize and recycle donations in both indoor and outdoor settings, while adhering to company operational standards.

Requirements

At least 18 years old
Provide outstanding customer service to all donors
Organized and can keep the donations area neat and presentable

Responsibilities

Receive donations from donors
Track and weigh donations that we collect
Share information about our charity partners and our mission with our donors and customers
Work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions
Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading trailers and donation boxes
Accept donated clothing, shoes, and household goods through the drive-thru at our Fixed Donation Center
Engage with donors and communicate the impact donating has on our community, partners, and planet
Interact with truck drivers and other team members to organize and recycle donations in an indoor and outdoor situation
Help sustain and maintain a clean and orderly Fixed Donation Center, based on company operational standards
Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading donor vehicles and box trucks
Possess the ability to regularly work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions
Loading and unloading carts
Inspecting and sorting clothing, shoes, and other items
Prepping and organizing products for recycling
Other duties may be assigned by a working supervisor
