Domestic CT Strategy and Policy Analyst Position Summary: Position Description: Domestic CT Strategy and Policy Analyst Location: On-Site and Telework (when authorized), National Capital Region Employment Category: Full-Time Employee Travel: Yes Deployment: No Drug screening: Yes Security Clearance: Citizenship: Active top-secret security clearance, with SCI eligibility. Must be a U.S. Citizen Education Master’s degree in Homeland Security, Political Science, Public Policy, or related field required Required Experience 8 years related experience relevant to the responsibilities of this role below. Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and understand the implications of various counterterrorism policies and strategies. This includes the capability to assess threats and evaluate the effectiveness of current measures. Proficiency in conducting comprehensive research using various sources, including academic journals, government reports, and other relevant publications. This also involves the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into coherent reports and policy documents. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effectively articulating analysis findings, presenting strategic recommendations, and collaborating with stakeholders. This includes the ability to write clear and persuasive policy briefs, reports, and presentations. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis, policy formulation, and strategic planning. Preferred Experience 10 years related experience. Salary: Commensurate on experience. Responsibilities: SANCORP is seeking a Senior Homeland Defense Analyst to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSD(P)). The following are examples of responsibilities: Provide policy analysis and propose recommendations on combatting terrorism domestically, to include efforts countering terrorist travel, counter terrorism information sharing with Federal partners, DoD support to watch-listing and screening, and interagency efforts related to countering violent extremism domestically. Routinely support DoD senior leader participation in National Security Council (NSC) meetings (NSCs, Principals Committee, Deputies Committee, Policy Coordination Committee, Counterterrorism Security Group, and subordinate meetings) by developing and coordinating read- ahead materials, position papers, in-person briefings, and meeting notes as appropriate. The contractor will participate in these meetings as appropriate and approved by HD&HA leadership. Identify opportunities for and advise on the integration of DoD domestic CT priorities into intelligence community planning and prioritization. Maintain electronic and hardcopy files on critical documents related to domestic counterterrorism strategy and policy. Requirements

Master’s degree in Homeland Security, Political Science, Public Policy, or related field required
8 years related experience relevant to the responsibilities of this role below.
