About The Position

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Provide supervision and ensure safety of swimmers, enforce rules and safety guidelines, maintains a clean and safe pool environment, and provides emergency assistance.

Requirements

• Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certification Required
• Communication and engagement with camp staff and camper populations.
• Swimming Proficiency
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certification
• Supervise swimming activities, assess safety, and enforce water safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of swimmers / campers in and around pool environment
• Monitor activity and enforce pool rules.
• Respond to Emergencies
• Perform rescue procedures and provide first aid.
• Complete facility maintenance including routine pool chemical monitoring and inspection for potential safety risks.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool area.
