About The Position

A small group leader will assist campers with medical and/or special needs while facilitating camp participation including mobility assistance, self-care, communication, and group safety. Oversees and directs a group of approximately 10-12 campers during organized group activities and transitions. Group leaders may coordinate with other staff members to assist in implementing camp rules and guidelines. Leaders will communicate with counselors, staff, and parents regarding daily camper experience with the assistance and input of campers’ individual counselors. A small group leader will provide leadership and guidance to promote a fun, safe, and engaging camp environment while promoting camper participation and maintaining group schedules.
