The Wags Club in West LA is seeking dedicated Dog Daycare Attendants to provide top-tier care in our luxury, cage-free daycare and boarding facility. We’re looking for individuals who know that working with dogs isn’t just about play—it’s about creating a safe, structured environment where every dog thrives.

Requirements

• Experienced in Dog Care: Prior experience working in a dog daycare, kennel, veterinary clinic, or similar setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledgeable About Dog Behavior: You can recognize and address common behavioral issues and understand the importance of structure and boundaries.
• Reliable and Responsible: You’re punctual, take direction well, and understand that the safety and happiness of our dogs depend on your attention to detail.
• Strong Communicator: You’re confident speaking with pet parents and teammates to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Physically Capable: Comfortable working on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs, and handling active dogs of all sizes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and Manage Dog Groups: Monitor play sessions to ensure safety, address behavioral issues, and maintain a calm, balanced environment.
• Deliver Exceptional Care: Follow feeding schedules, administer medications (if needed), and observe dogs for health or behavioral concerns.
• Communicate with Pet Parents: Provide professional updates on their dogs’ behavior, health, and activities to build trust and confidence.
• Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Keep our facility spotless and organized to ensure the well-being of all dogs in our care.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work alongside other handlers to create a positive and efficient workflow.
