About The Position

The Vaccine Immunogen Prediction neural network for Disease X (VIPnetX) is the synthesis and expansion of our data-driven sequence, structural, and immunological computational tools and machine learning algorithms. Our ultimate goal is to develop a robust computational framework to design broadly protective libraries of immunogens to diverse families of viruses. To achieve the goal of an automated computational pipeline for immunogen prediction and optimization of conformation, stability, and presentation of broadly protective epitopes, we will expand our existing computational models and combine them into a single validated comprehensive immunogen design framework. Education and Experience Requirements The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States. Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins. Applicants must be: ‒Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution ‒Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or ‒Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution
