About The Position

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a federal-state vocational program dedicated to helping people with physical or mental disabilities be successful in employment. Responsibilities include handling assignments broad in scope, requiring sound judgement, independent decision-making, and the application of established policies, laws, rules, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Administrative Experience
  • Demonstrated administrative or clerical experience supporting business operations, including data entry, report preparation, records management, or office coordination. Experience may include work in accounting, personnel, purchasing, or general administrative support.
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 1 year of administrative experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with special projects and assignments in support of operational needs
  • Assist in conducting research to support administrative and program functions
  • Assist with personnel-related functions in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Assist in the coordination of daily administrative operations
  • Assist with tracking and logging area approvals and counselor status
  • Assist training staff in travel rules, regulations, and related processes
  • Assist with providing administrative support to other units, including travel as needed
