About The Position

Job Summary: Supervise the creation of final documentation packages, evaluate customer requirements, identify and implement job requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be technically familiar with fabrication techniques and equipment.
  • Must be technically familiar with NDE techniques and equipment.
  • Must be familiar with AS9100/ISO9001, knowledge of ASME NQA-1 is a plus.
  • Must be familiar with inspection and fabrication techniques and equipment.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of applications.
  • Must possess good writing and communication skills.
  • Must pay attention to details.
  • 8 years in a technical field, our four years of experience putting together highly technical document packages.
  • Must understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations.
  • Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people.
  • This position is frequently called upon to handle difficult situations and must be able to communicate providing feedback in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to answer questions in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Requires occasional public contact.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
  • Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others
  • Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the employer’s safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
  • Must be available and willing to work overtime as the employer determines whether it is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
  • Must be available and willing to travel as the employer determines whether it is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the documentation group.
  • Review contract requirements to prepare the final documentation package.
  • Technical review of document packages with internal and external customers
  • Work with all departments to get corrections and ensure complete and accurate document packages.
  • Compile procedures and certifications for customer approval as needed
