About The Position

Snap-on Credit LLC is the financial arm of Snap-on Inc., a $4.7 billion, S&P 500 company, and leading global innovator, manufacturer and marketer of tools, equipment, diagnostics, repair information and systems solutions for professional users performing critical tasks. Products and services are sold through the company’s franchisee, company-direct, distributor and internet channels. From our headquarters in Libertyville, IL Snap-on Credit provides financing to technicians, students of automotive technical institutions, and shop owners for the purchase of Snap-on hand tools, power tools, tool storage, and diagnostic products through our Extended Credit program. We are looking for full time employees to provide support for Snap-on Franchisees and customers through administration of applications, documentation, purchasing, funding and reporting on Lease and Loan products. Major responsibilities include entering applications for credit review; reviewing vendor invoices to input financial calculations into the agreement in accordance to program requirements; merging and sending documents; reviewing/auditing signed contracts before purchasing; and preparing/sending funding reports to pay vendor invoices. Also responsible for vehicle financing / dealership compliance tasks.

Requirements

  • Four year college degree preferred
  • Three to five years of related experience preferred
  • Good math skills
  • Competent office computer skills required; above average ability to use Microsoft Office suite of products (proficiency in Excel is desired) and strong keyboarding skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships and be a team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
  • Analytical thinker / Problem Solver

Nice To Haves

  • Vehicle Title, Registration and/or Dealership experience is a bonus
  • Understanding or willingness to learn of varied loan and lease structures and systems
