About The Position

STAT Informatic Solutions is looking for a Document Processing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll help manage and process records, ensuring they’re handled with accuracy, care, and confidentiality. Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour Schedule: Part Time, Monday 7:00am - 3:30pm, Tuesday - Thursday 7:00am - 2:30pm

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers, office equipment, and relevant software is preferred to effectively perform daily production tasks.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding information governance and medical recordkeeping requirements, when applicable.
  • Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings in accordance with client and company policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Review and receive documents, as applicable.
  • Prepare documents accurately for scanning in accordance with established company and client guidelines.
  • Perform high-quality scanning of records, ensuring the document count aligns with the batch cover sheet and that image quality meets required standards.
  • Verify and index documents using company systems and software to release them into the production workflow.
  • Consistently meet daily production goals set by operations leadership.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal team members and external clients.
  • Comply with all HIPAA regulations and confidentiality policies at all times.
  • Assist in training new team members by sharing knowledge of production processes and utilizing STAT Informatic Solutions’ training modules, as assigned.
  • Monitor processing queues and respond as needed to ensure workflow continuity.
  • Support quality control efforts and assist in the daily processing of reports, as directed.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
