About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) Section within the U.S. Department of Justice requires administrative and clerical support to manage increased workload and ensure timely, accurate processing of HR documentation. This requirement is for a Document Management Analyst II to support daily HR operations through data entry and records management activities. Period and Place of Performance: Performance is anticipated for at least one (1) year. Work will be performed in person in Washington D.C. in coordination with HR management.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience on major litigation support projects or undergraduate degree.
  • Certain assignments may require experience or substantial undergraduate coursework in, for example, human resources, finance/accounting, health care, or substantial experience in the legal environment or in information technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities.
  • Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Oracle, Relativity or other document review platform, Trial Director, etc.
  • Should be a knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
  • DOJ MBI must be obtainable (US citizenship required)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry into various HR applications and systems
  • Processing and tracking retirement forms, leave forms, and other HR-related documents
  • Reviewing and routing personnel and benefits paperwork
  • Maintaining electronic personnel records and shared drives
  • Assisting with report preparation and tracking logs
  • Responding to routine administrative HR inquiries
  • Accurate and timely data entry and document processing
  • Maintained HR records and tracking logs
  • Status updates on assigned tasks, as requested
  • Work must be accurate, timely, confidential, and compliant with DOJ policies and procedures.
