About The Position

BrightStar Care of Greater Chester County is currently seeking a strong HR Admin for our non-Medicare, Joint Commission accredited home healthcare and medical staffing agency. Our agency focuses on all facets of care in the home inclusive of skilled services. The Human Resource Admin. will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including management of the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process inclusive of administering pay, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices while ensuring compliance with all state and federal requirements. The HR Admin will manage the Staff Recruiter who is responsible for delivering all facets of recruitment & retention success throughout the Office following the direction of the HR Admin.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience with a high school diploma.
  • Experience as an HR Admin. inclusive of recruiting, healthcare recruiting a plus.
  • Knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, Company conferences and career fairs.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully to develop & measure KPI’s for future improvements.
  • One to two years of human resources experience required; one to two years of recruiting experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.

Responsibilities

  • The HR Admin will lead the creation of recruiting and interviewing plans for each open position in coordination with the Client Care Manager & Director of Nursing.
  • Manage the staff recruiter to efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, payroll, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; Workers Comp and training and development.
  • Provide essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, acting as the first point of contact for employee inquiries.
  • Manage all employee matters related to policies and procedures infractions.
  • Maintain all employee records in accordance with state, federal and brand requirements so we are always “Survey Ready”
  • Develop & execute an employee retention and development programs.
  • Support HR processes including unemployment claims and data entry into HR systems.
  • Manage and update workflows to ensure accurate documentation across HR functions.
  • Work with the Sr. Management team on all employee matters.
