The Document Image Specialist is responsible for indexing and organizing documents from all departments into the Nautilus database. This role involves performing quality reviews of indexed documents to assure clarity and readability of scanned documents. The specialist will also organize and maintain the bulk filing system, including document retention, and assist other department staff as necessary. Essential functions include importing and scanning documents into the document imaging system, indexing scanned documents within the system while ensuring valid account information from the host file, and performing quality reviews of documents. The specialist will also organize and maintain the bulk filing system, ensure timely document destruction according to the Bank’s retention schedule, provide quality review and perform tasks effectively and efficiently in several areas of the Nautilus database, and offer support and assistance to end-users with general system usage and to other document imaging staff as needed.
