About The Position

As the Document Coordinator / Drafter, you will play a crucial role in the organization, maintenance, and creation of various documents essential to the division’s operation. Your primary responsibilities will be to create and revise fabrication and installation documents & drawings for warehouse and field staff use.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must possess AutoCAD certification.
  • Ability to work with Energy Pro-CBECC software 2022 Energy code or newer
  • Ability to independently complete Title-24 reports and energy models
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.
  • Must possess strong analytic skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be capable of working efficiently both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in order to interface with other company employees in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Must possess a willingness to learn about the construction and design processes.
  • Must be PC computer literate.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) experience required.
  • Must possess mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.

Nice To Haves

  • CEA or CEPE is preferred
  • Experience in residential, multi-family, and commercial projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and assemblies for low-rise residential buildings is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support warehouse and field staff with accurate documentation creation and revisions.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized document control system to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and create technical documents.
  • Coordinate requested changes with field personnel.
  • Maintain quality control at all times.
  • Additional duties or projects as assigned by Director of Engineering
