About The Position

Perform Document Control and Quality Assurance activities related to document management and compliance audit activities within Broadata Communications, Inc. Requirements

  • High School or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1- 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Engineering and Manufacturing documentation as well as good documentation practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities while adapting to changing business needs.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment, working extended hours (as needed).
  • Strong self-motivation and attitude for personal career growth, willingness to self-learn, and work in new technology domains
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is desirable
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and AS9100 concepts and guidelines a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities of Document Control, including the distribution and auditing of controlled documents, maintenance of electronic department directories, tracking and reporting on document review progress and work independently to facilitate group activities.
  • Manage archival activities for controlled documents and validation files.
  • Implement, manage, and administer the electronic document management system.
  • Manage the ECR/ECO process including weekly meetings to keep changes within directed time frames.
  • Follow policies and procedures and provide support for the Quality Management System audits and actively participate in department activities.
  • Review and obtain all changes to specifications from our customers or other agencies to ensure our specification listing is accurate and current.
  • Be capable of understanding revisions, engineering changes, or E.O.'s to drawings and specifications and be able to communicate with customers.
  • Coordinate the RMA activities, including the issuance of RMA numbers to the respective customers, tracking and reporting on status of RMA’s.
  • Create and maintain metrics for both Document Control and RMA’s.
