Structure, release, and configure bill of material (BOM) with appropriate multilevel structuring and grouping based on input from engineering, manufacturing, and customers. Upload BOMs to the ERP system. Review customer engineering drawings and accurately input corresponding BOM into the ERP system to support build-to-print manufacturing orders. Conduct physical line audits to confirm BOM accuracy. Review and implement engineering change orders (ECOs) to maintain BOMs to the latest revisions. Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and technical schematics to ensure accurate understanding of design specifications and project requirements. Collaborate with production, supply chain, program management, and engineering to audit and maintain an accurate BOM throughout the product lifecycle. Drive timely ECO reviews, BOM updates, and documentation release. Ensure up-to-date documents are available at point of use, including management of as-built documentation. Assist with requests for quotes and proposals for build-to-print assemblies. Create and maintain documentation for current and future processes. Respond to production issues, investigate root causes, and direct issues to the appropriate team for corrections. Provide backup support for the purchasing department.
