We cater to a growing number of exotic pets and are seeking a primary exotic veterinarian to enhance our specialized services. Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited veterinary school
  • Active veterinary license in Michigan or eligibility to obtain one
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly with exotic species, is highly valued. New graduates with a strong interest in small animal or exotic pets will also be welcomed
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and coordination
  • Proficiency with veterinary software systems, digital radiography, and standard medical equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and colleagues

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly with exotic species
  • Familiarity with practice management software
