About The Position

If you love the outdoors and Lake Oconee, this summer position is for you! You
will assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the marina from May -
August. This position is full time for the summer and pays $10/hr + tips. You
must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid GA driver’s license
• Must possess a willingness to learn and to take direction
• Must have ability to work with the public, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to adapt to established safety guidelines
• Physically able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

• Boating experience preferred
• Good swimmers preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves marina customers, and identifies boating & fishing needs
• Inspects and assists in maintenance of rental fleet boats, as well as the operation, docking, fueling, and cleaning of watercraft
• Promotes Marina sales by assisting Marina shop operations, as needed
• Assists in shuttle, as needed
• Performs daily routine Marina maintenance functions, as needed
• Assists forklift operators when launching and retrieving boat
