About The Position

We are seeking a qualified DME Specialist to join our DME team. Core responsibilities include: Assist with insurance verification/authorization for the DME department when necessary Assist with fitting and applying braces, crutches, and other orthopedic soft goods Maintain/oversee clean and well-stocked DME inventory areas in various office locations Creates a positive patient experience by being polite, compassionate, and professional  Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Medical Insurance Guidelines and requirements
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent customer service skills – minimum 2 years
  • Travel to all locations
  • Multi-tasker
  • Candidate should be familiar with EMR/Electronic Health/Medical Record Systems

Nice To Haves

  • DME experience preferred but not required
  • Medical office background experience preferred
