This job is responsible for sales, servicing and education of equipment to ensure safe delivery, setup and use of equipment and maintains the quality provider image for the company and community. Requirements

  • Education Required - High School diploma or equivalent
  • Work Experience Required – 1 year experience in customer service related position
  • Certifications Required - Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, keyboard, and various software programs specific to role.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout required job processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred - 1 year delivery experience in the medical field.
  • Successful completion of factory training seminar for home medical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manages territory to reach service goals and delivery of equipment and oxygen, as required, in accordance with industry standards and applicable governmental regulations including US.
  • Delivers and sets up required equipment in the customer’s residence.
  • Completes written client visit reports, following setup and follow-up visits, as required.
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance and simple repairs on equipment in accordance with company policies.
  • Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
