About The Position

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Owasso, OK Hours Varied Essential Functions of Employment with DLO: Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis Perform tests in blood bank, chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, coagulation, and microbiology. Assist with specimen processing as needed. Follow employer policies; work with fellow employees in a professional and productive manner; perform QC with appropriate follow-up action and instrument troubleshooting as needed. Must be able to work alone without immediate supervision. Additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities: A solid understanding of basic knowledge associated with clinical laboratory testing, including QA/QC is required for this position. A successful candidate must possess good computer skills and be able to adapt to multiple computer systems. The candidate should be able to take instruction form a variety of sources without adversity. Qualifications: AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology. ASCP MT/MLT certification or equivalent or be eligible for national MT/MLT certification. Ability to maintain a professional, courteous and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress. Reflect the company's values in all aspects of performance. Teamwork with fellow employees is a must. Keyboard skills are important. Good customer service skills, professional appearance and attitude are required. Shift flexibility to cover staffing gaps as needed.

Requirements
