This leader owns revenue growth, margin expansion, customer relationships, and organizational effectiveness across the New England footprint while ensuring alignment with TriMark’s enterprise operating model. This role is critical to TriMark’s transformation. The President will lead the business through system modernization (ERP, WMS, data, pricing), organizational integration, and commercial acceleration — all while protecting customer experience, employee engagement, and near-term financial performance. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, analytically strong, industry-grounded change leader who knows how to run a large KES business and move it forward without disrupting what already works.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in foodservice distribution, KES, or a closely comparable B2B commercial environment
  • At least 3 years of direct experience in KES or foodservice distribution, with a deep understanding of how sales, pricing, supply chain, and service models work together
  • A demonstrated ability to lead organizations through change, including system implementations, integration, margin recovery, and commercial evolution
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to manage trade-offs, diagnose performance issues, and drive disciplined P&L results
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in foodservice distribution or comparable B2B commercial environments
  • Highly organized, execution-oriented, and commercially sharp
  • Leader who can align sales, operations, and finance behind a clear plan and deliver results in a dynamic environment
  • Proven success with full P&L ownership for a multi-branch or regional operation
  • Track record of revenue growth, margin improvement, and organizational transformation
  • Experience leading sales organizations and managing complex, enterprise customer relationships
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, pricing systems, or large-scale business system implementations

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver United East revenue growth across new customer acquisition, existing account expansion, and share-of-wallet
  • Drive disciplined sales management, including pipeline rigor, forecasting accuracy, pricing compliance, and margin protection
  • Partner closely with Corporate Accounts on national and multi-market customers
  • Personally engage with strategic customers, suppliers, and key growth opportunities
  • Build a commercial culture that prioritizes profitability, value-based selling, and customer lifetime value — not just top-line volume
  • Maintain full accountability for revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, working capital, and operating expense
  • Ensure deal economics, pricing discipline, and profitability targets are consistently achieved
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and performance reporting
  • Use data and analytics to diagnose business performance and make fact-based decisions
  • Oversee all branch, warehouse, transportation, customer service, and operational functions
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service levels that protect customer retention and drive growth
  • Lead productivity improvement, cost efficiency, and operational standardization
  • Align operations with commercial priorities to ensure the organization can scale profitably
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable all United East leaders and employees
  • Establish a performance-based culture with clear expectations, measurable goals, and consistent follow-through
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-caliber commercial, operational, and leadership talent
  • Build strong succession, bench strength, and leadership continuity
  • Serve as the United East business owner for ERP, WMS, pricing, and sales process transformation
  • Ensure adoption of TriMark’s enterprise systems, data standards, and operating practices
  • Lead organizational change in a way that protects revenue, customer experience, and employee engagement
  • Translate enterprise initiatives into real-world execution at the branch and customer level
  • Act as the senior executive face of United East in the New England market
  • Maintain executive-level relationships with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners
  • Represent United East in TriMark’s regional and enterprise leadership forums
  • Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, CFO, and East Region leadership team
