About The Position

The Division Order Analyst II is an intermediate level position responsible for performing clerical, data entry and research duties for the Division Order Department related to the correct and prompt establishment and maintenance of record title ownership to Continental Resources’ producing properties. This position is responsible for the daily work and performance of all routine division order responsibilities. The Division Order Analyst II will address and seek resolution of division order related issues of increasing complexity. This position will provide assistance to senior level analysts for an assigned geographical area. This position requires a highly motivated individual, capable of successfully achieving positive results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of land concepts and division order responsibilities.
  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with major in Law or Business.
  • Three (3) years of experience with an active oil and gas exploration company.
  • Certified Division Order Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains divisions of interest for revenue distribution and joint interest billing.
  • Initiates pay code changes and ownership transfers of intermediate complexity within SAP.
  • Assists senior level division order analysts as needed.
  • Researches and responds to phone calls, emails and written inquiries from interest owners in a timely manner.
  • Prepares Division Orders and Transfer Orders accurately and promptly as needed.
  • Creates division order files and file documentation.
  • Works closely internally with all land disciplines, Revenue Accounting, JIB Accounting, Legal, Marketing, and Reserves, and externally with contract landmen, brokers, title attorneys, WI partners and revenue interest owners to achieve company goals.
  • Promotes, cultivates and maintains good professional relationships with colleagues and external interest owners.
  • Other duties as assigned.
