As an intern, your time will be divided between a core program shared with the entire cohort and specialized work, projects, and programming tailored to the department you join. The Diversified team is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for an intern in our 2026 summer program! This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience at the Denver office, under a typical 5-day-in-office work week. Daily responsibilities will include: Actively contribute to team projects by engaging in collaboration, asking questions, and supporting shared goals. Utilize Excel to organize information, track progress, and assist with data-driven tasks as needed. Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to learn by seeking clarity, exploring new tasks, and taking initiative. Serve as a self-starter by proactively preparing for meetings, managing responsibilities, and staying ahead on assignments. Approach interactions with the mindset that both sides are evaluating fit—professionally representing yourself while assessing team dynamics and expectations. We’re proud of the success many of our former interns have had when they’ve pursued careers as IMA associates’ post-graduation and see our internship program as a key talent pipeline. Because of this, preference is given to students closer to graduation, who demonstrate a curiosity about future employment within our industry.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in a program related to one of our host departments (Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management and Insurance)
Interest in insurance-related roles; involvement in insurance clubs or Gamma Iota Sigma
Students anticipated to graduate in Spring 2026, December 2026, or Spring 2027
Previous work or internship experience in a professional services or similar environment
An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide creative solutions

Responsibilities
